Want to brighten up your day? Check out the Dogs Trust Puppy Cam

If you’re looking for a distraction from everything that’s going on in the news today then you need to look no further than the Dogs Trust Ireland‘s Puppy Cam.

This adorable live-feed puppy cam features many potential adoptees and airs most Fridays from about 3pm over on YouTube. In this week’s video, we meet 6-week-old Lurcher Cross puppies.

These adorable pups are looking for their Forever Homes and though the Rehoming Centre is temporarily closed, behind-the-scenes dogs are continuing to be saved and rehomed.

‘Many people are not aware that we generally have puppies as well as adult dogs available for adoption and will go online to buy a puppy before looking in rescue centres first,’ former Dogs Trust Executive Director Suzie Carley said.

‘This is something we hope that PuppyCam will change! We have amazing Puppy Carers who work incredibly hard every day to look after the moms and puppies in our care to ensure they are safe, warm, clean, loved and fully prepared for their Forever Homes.’

Puppies are of course extremely appealing, which can sometimes result in an emotional and snap decision to purchase online, we always advise people to spend time considering the huge commitment of getting a dog. The average dog lives to be 13 years of age and requires lots of your time, company and there is also the financial commitment to consider’.

More than ever Dogs Trust Ireland needs your support. In this unprecedented time of need, Dogs Trust needs your support to help them care for their dogs.

They would be delighted if you would consider supporting their ongoing life-saving work by making a donation here or by sponsoring a dog.  You can look back on previous puppy cams here.
