As our nation deals with the announcement that Ireland is on lockdown, one hotel in County Clare is taking the opportunity to cater to vulnerable people in the area. Hotel Doolin on Clare’s coast has come up with a kind gesture to help those in need during these unsure times.

In a social media update, the hotel announced that it would be happy to provide food to anyone in the community who were in fear of leaving their homes.

‘If you know of any elderly or vulnerable people in Doolin who may be unable or reluctant to venture out to [the] supermarket or a restaurant please let them know that we’d be happy to call around to them with a dinner from Hotel Doolin’ read the Facebook post.

Their kindness hasn’t gone unnoticed with people on Facebook and Twitter praising the hotel for its kind deed.
