The Dublin Casual Choir has paid tribute to all of those who are keeping us safe, with a powerful virtual rendition of the U2 hit One. This Irish choir usually meets every two weeks but during the lockdown, everyone has had to maintain social distancing so everyone decided to pop online for a special session like no other.
In a response that echoes the determined spirit of those working on the frontlines, the choir came together for this truly beautiful performance that was put together and posted on YouTube. It’s clear that a huge amount of effort when into this and it’s sure to lift the spirits.
‘This is what happens when Casual Choir hosted a sofa session to keep us singing during COVID-19,’ they say in the description of the video.
‘You shared your voices and memories. We put them together. To sing as one. Thank you to everyone who made this video and to everyone who is keeping us safe. One love Grá mór.’
