Art and Soul: Major art fair to feature Ireland’s largest display of sculptures

Art and Soul, Ireland’s first major post-lockdown art fair is set to feature the largest collection of sculptures displayed on the island.

The Holywood International Art and Sculpture Fair Art and Soul will take place at the five-star Culloden Estate and Spa, Belfast, between June 26 and July 18, in conjunction with Gormleys Fine Art.

The biggest combined outdoor and indoor event of its kind in Ireland, the Fair will comprise several major attractions, including work by Andy Warhol, throughout the Culloden’s grounds and interiors.

The sculpture event is a unique attraction which will feature 125 sculptures situated both in the 12 acres of landscaped grounds that stretch down towards the shores of Belfast Lough and the interior of the Culloden Estate.

It has been curated by Gormleys Fine Art, who last exhibited here successfully in 2019.

Sculptures will include the work of Ian Pollock, Bob Quinn, Eamonn Ceannt, Orla de Brí, Sandra Bell and F.E McWilliam as well as a Teddy Bears’ Picnic, featuring a collection of iconic bears created by top sculptor Patrick O’Reilly.

The Fair, which will be Gormleys Fine Art’s sixth major outdoor exhibition, will also include an entire room of work by Andy Warhol as well as displays by world-renowned artists such as Dali, Banksy, Picasso, Damien Hirst, and Roy Lichtenstein.

They will join the likes of Lynn Chadwick, Peter Monaghan, Patrick Hughes, Keith Haring, Stephen Johnston, Robert Indiana, Gordon Harris, Julian Opie and Tom Wesselmann in a visually spectacular Fair dedicated to best of Irish and international art.

There will be guided tours around the installations daily at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm.
